What Are Chemical Inert Ceramic Balls?

Chemical inert ceramic balls are small, round, hard balls made from alumina. They do not react with chemicals. They do not break in heat. They do not absorb water. That is why factories put them inside reactors and chemical towers.

Think of them as a strong, stable base layer. They sit at the bottom of the reactor and hold the catalyst in place. Without them, the catalyst can shift, break, or mix with other layers. That causes product quality problems and costly shutdowns.

Who uses them?

  • Chemical plant operators and process engineers
  • Refinery managers who need reliable reactor packing
  • Plant procurement teams looking for bulk ceramic media
  • Export buyers sourcing quality ceramic balls from India

What problems do they solve?

  • Catalysts shifting or breaking inside the reactor
  • Chemicals corroding the support layer over time
  • Poor flow of liquids or gases through the tower
  • Frequent shutdowns for maintenance and replacement
  • High pressure drop across packed beds

7 Reasons to Use Our High Alumina Ceramic Balls

  1. Does not react with chemicals Safe to use in acid, alkali, and solvent environments. No contamination of your product stream. Ideal for corrosion resistant ceramic balls for chemical industry use.

  2. Handles high heat Works up to 1700 degrees C. Suitable for hot reactors and regeneration cycles without any deformation.

  3. Stays strong under pressure, dense and hard. Does not crush or crack under the weight of catalyst layers above it.

  4. Low water absorption Absorbs less than 0.5% water. Stays dry and stable even in wet process conditions over long service cycles.

  5. Uniform size and shape Each ball is round and consistently sized. This gives even flow and reduces pressure drop by up to 18%.

  6. Long service life Many buyers use the same batch for 3 to 5 years without needing to replace them. Fewer replacements means lower costs.

  7. Available in bulk We can supply small trial orders and large bulk shipments. No shortage, no delays. We are a trusted industrial grade inert ceramic balls exporter with bulk supply capability.

How We Process Your Order

Step 1: You tell us what you need. Share your reactor size, temperature, and chemical environment. If you are not sure, just describe your process. We will guide you to the right product.

Step 2: We pick the right grade We choose the alumina percentage and ball size that fits your application. We also help with inert ceramic balls for catalyst bed support applications based on your bed dimensions.

Step 3: We make and test the balls. Balls are made at our plant in Mandsaur. Every batch is tested for hardness, size, and chemical resistance before packing. No batch leaves without passing quality checks.

Step 4: We pack and send products packed in moisture-proof bags or bulk sacks. We handle all paperwork for domestic and export orders including certificates and packing lists.

Step 5: We stay available after delivery. Have a question after receiving the order? Our team is available to help with loading calculations and ongoing technical support at no extra charge.

Why Choose MBC For Chemical inert ceramic balls

Our production is years of hands-on experience. He personally oversees quality checks on every batch so you get consistent products every time you order.

Real Result: A petrochemical refinery in Gujarat switched to our 99% alumina balls in 2022. They replaced their catalyst 35% less often. Reactor pressure drop improved by 18%. Total savings in the first year: around INR 12 lakhs in maintenance and downtime costs.

Other reasons buyers keep coming back:

  • We are a direct manufacturer, not a trader. You pay factory prices, saving 10 to 20% on procurement cost
  • Our plant in Mandsaur produces over 500 metric tons per month
  • We export to 15+ countries including the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia

FAQs About Chemical inert ceramic balls

A catalyst makes a chemical reaction happen. An inert ceramic ball just holds the catalyst in place and protects it. The ball itself does nothing to the reaction. That is why it is called inert, which means non-reactive.

For normal chemical environments, 17% to 30% alumina is fine. For strong acids, very high heat, or tough conditions, go for 92% or 99% alumina. Not sure? Share your process details and we will tell you the right grade.

We are a direct manufacturer based in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. We make the balls ourselves at our own plant. This means better quality control and lower prices for you.

Standard sizes are 3mm, 6mm, 10mm, 13mm, 19mm, 25mm, 38mm, and 50mm. We can also make custom sizes if your reactor needs a specific dimension.

Yes. We regularly supply orders from 1 MT to 500 MT and above. We have a monthly production capacity of over 500 metric tons from our Mandsaur plant.

Yes. High alumina grades (92% and above) can handle up to 1700 degrees C. Lower grades work well below 1000 degrees C. Always tell us your maximum temperature when you request a quote.

Yes. We are active high alumina ceramic balls exporters in Mandsaur and supply to the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and other regions. We handle all export documentation.

They protect your catalyst so you replace it less often. They also improve gas and liquid flow inside the reactor, which means better output and less energy waste. One Gujarat client saved around INR 12 lakhs per year after switching to our balls.

Every order includes a material test certificate, packing list, inspection report, and technical data sheet. Export orders also get a Certificate of Analysis. Pre-shipment samples are available on request.

We pack in 25 kg woven bags or 1 MT jumbo bags. All packaging uses moisture-resistant lining to keep the balls dry during transport and storage.

Give us your reactor inner diameter and the height of the support layer you want. We will calculate the required volume and weight for you. This service is free for all buyers.
